You develop skills in metal fabrication, pattern development, welding, computers in engineering, and robotics. Designed for people already working in the manufacturing or engineering industry, this course covers competencies in metal fabrication, forging, founding, structural steel erection, electroplating, metal spinning, metal polishing, sheet metal work, welding and the use of related computer controlled equipment. This course is ideal if you’re looking to get into a new area of engineering or wanting to upgrade your skills. It is recommended that you are already employed within a relevant industry, or at least have significant experience as this is available as an apprentice and non-apprentice course.
