We are interested especially in
• Game strategies (Decision rules, stable and varying criteria, etc.)
• Dynamic weaving strategies, the best oriented to paradigm level, since our project is oriented rather to the area of automatic software evolution than to programming area. We do not suppose the use of AspectJ or other aspect "programming" language.
• The representation of behaviour of systems in the run-time, i.e. run-time characteristics representation (maybe abstracted)
• Advanced derivatives of temporal logic, such as quantified temporal logic, related however to computations, not just to finite state transitions.
Our experiences
1. Using process functional paradigm, we may express all imperative and object programs by functional expressions in a systematic, but still not monadic manner.
2. We have performed experiments with aspect paradigm, which we feel as a powerful composition tool rather than programming paradigm.
3. VEGA projects in this area http://kpi.fei.tuke.sk/person/kollar/dcicard.php

We are interested especially in
Intelligent knowledge-based methodology for the IS life cycle
• searching a suitable SwT echnology (methods, analysis/design tools, implementation environments, etc...) which can be applied to the realization of a concrete system with pre-defined properties - expert system of software projects – CASE with SwT
Knowledge Base
IS architecture with intelligent layer
• apply AI to the architecture of developed and also existing information systems through the use of an independent software layer which should manage, maintain, and modify the information system at the development level
Our experiences

We are interested especially in methods and tools for building of integrated services in a distributed environment
• agent-oriented design combined with semantic service-oriented architecture
• application areas:
• information retrieval with utilization of data-mining techniques
• flexible community services (e.g. for students at the university campus)
• technology enhanced learning (research followed from the KP-Lab)
Our experiences
•Technological platform for creating multi-agent applications with hierarchical structure of mobile and static agents, Project VEGA No. 1/0176/03, DCI FEI TU Košice (finished)
• Integrated distributed applications based on ambients – higher-level agents, Project
VEGA No. 1/3135/06, DCI + CIT FEI TU Košice (running)
• Knowledge Practices Laboratory, Integrated FP6-2004-27490 EU Project, CIT FEI TU
