The Ford Meter Box Company has integrated a dual cartridge check valve assembly into a meter
expansion connection: a first of its kind.
It's an easy and inexpensive way of incorporating a backflow preventer into an existing meter box, as
compared to the traditional method of excavating the service.

- 5/8" and 5/8" x 3/4" sizes have dual cartridges
- 1" has a single cartridge
