Optocoupler VOW135, VOW136, VOW137, VOW2611 Widebody High-Isolation and High-Creepage 1 MBd and 10 MBd High-Speed Optocouplers The VOW137 and VOW2611 expands Vishay´s VOW Widebody high-isolation and high-creepage optocoupler family with a new series of 1 MBd and 10 MBd devices. Designed to increase reliability in high-voltage alternative energy and industrial applications, the VOW135, VOW136, VOW137 and VOW2611 provide a VIOTM of 8000 V, a VIORM of 1414 V, and an external creepage distance of greater than 10 mm. The VOW135 and VOW136 offer common mode transient immunity of 1000 V/ μs and high- and low-level propagation delay of less than 2 µs at a data rate of 1 MBd. The VOW137 and VOW2611 provide data rates up to 10 MBd and feature an internal Faraday shield, boosting common mode transient immunity up to 40.000 V/μs, while keeping high- and low-level propagation delay at less than 100 ns and high pulse width distortion less than 40 ns. This makes the devices perfectly suited for high-speed signal transmission and high-performance noise isolation, which are required to separate sensitive low-voltage areas from noisy high-voltage areas in high-power switching or CAT-IV applications.
