CA Application Performance Management

Application Performance Management in today’s complex environments requires a comprehensive solution that eliminates boundaries posed by multiple

CA Database Performance
CA Database Performance is a flexible software solution that gives you the power to manage the performance of your diverse and complex database
environments, regardless of whether deployed in a physical, virtual, or cloud environment, all from a single browser-based console. Databases underlie
applications across the enterprise, so managing database performance is critical to ensuring that service levels are met and business goals are achieved.
Amazon EC2 and Amazon VPC offer greater flexibility for managing your enterprise, so you need the same flexibility when managing database
performance. A single deployment can provide you with an enterprise view of performance of your databases, both in your Amazon cloud and in your own
data centers.
CA Database Performance can reside in or outside of Amazon EC2 and monitors Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, and Sybase in Amazon EC2. The option to use
remote and/or local monitoring provides the flexibility to quickly monitor databases deployed within Amazon EC2 while at the same time allowing you to
scale your management to thousands of databases. This flexibility helps you to deploy database monitoring that fits your database environment needs.
Database health metrics are delivered in-context to CA Spectrum Automation Manager, CA APM, and other CA solutions for a “single source of truth”
when an end-to-end view of performance management is desired. Visibility into database health from within other IT silos can increase communication
across these groups, reducing mean-time-to-repair and providing proactive performance management.
