Leak Detection Check List
Is there evidence of a possible water leak(s) in your home or business?
Read your water meter at the end of the day when no more water will be used and turn humidifier(s) off.
Read again in the morning before any water is used. Did the water meter reading change?

Take notice of the water level in the toilet
tank. The water level should never reach
the top of the overflow tube.
Drips coming out of the faucet aerator or
on/off handle(s)

Insert dye tablet in back roll of toilet tank
and wait 15 minutes. Do not flush. If
color appears in the toilet bowl, you have
a leak (use dye tablets in every toilet in
your home or business).
