IAS Annual Meeting Travel Grant
IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) has established a travel grant program
(AMTGP) for IAS members to attend the IAS Annual Meeting 2016 (IAS2016) which will
be held in Portland, OR, USA, 2-6 October 2016. The Annual Meeting has a long tradition
of providing an international forum for experts to present and discuss the latest developments
in the application of technology to industry. It therefore emphasizes professional
development, learning from experts, sharing of experiences, and networking with peers.
Mr. Nikhil Mehra, B.Tech, Student of Mechanical engineering & IAS Chapter Chair of
IEEE student branch of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon selected for the
IAS annual meeting travel grant for attending IAS Annual meeting 2016 held at Portland,
OR, USA to represent IAS chapter of IEEE SB Dronacharya College of engineering,
Gurgaon.
Salient features of the grant




Reimbursing the conference registration fee ( $375)
Reimbursing 50% of the CMD Dinner fee ($15).
Reimbursing travel expenses up to $800.
Accommodation in shared room in the conference hotel
