Josh Weckesser AP Language & Composition Journal Entry Number Six: Letter of Recommendation October 12, 1999 Whomever it may concern: I am writing on behalf of one Joshua Paul Weckesser. I have known Josh for quite sometime and I feel that I am uniquely qualified to point out some of his high points. Josh is a very outgoing and likeable person. He has lots of close friends who he trusts emphatically. In his short time alive he has formed strong bonds with his peers. He has a personal peace within himself that he confers to those around him. Josh is a good student. He does not excel above his temporaries. His grade point average is 3.184 on a 4-point scale. This, I believe, is slightly lower then he could reasonably accomplish. However, the hectic nature of high school and his out-of-school activates have prevented him from devoting fully to his studies. This is a habit that he hopes to change in the coming months to prepare for college. In addition to school Josh keeps himself busy. He has held down a menial job at Taco Bell for over a year. This experience has been a good one for him as he is now unafraid to plunge right in and get his hands dirty. His real passions, though, is writing. He truly enjoys nothing more then to pull out a fresh, white sheet of paper and sloppily bring order to the words that tumble within his head. Josh feels that he could never amount to anything as a writer and as such has taken a more real approach to the future, he’s looking at computers. Josh is comfortable with computers. He finds that with enough patience one can get them to function. The money is good, and, as a moderate Objectivist, he places a great deal of value on marketable sills and the attainment of money. In closing I would like to state that Josh has excellent potential. However, I doubt he will ever get his head out of the clouds enough to ever accomplish anything with his life. Yours truly, Lord Resse Graycloak
