OBJECTIVE: Students will be able to develop a logical argument using reason and
rhetoric to analyze a problem and offer a solution, taking into consideration the opposing
point of view.
DIRECTIONS: In 1000 words organize an argument that attacks, defends, or proposes a
point of view. Provide the grounds that back your claims to warrant your point of view.
Consider what claims form the basis of your argument. Avoid logical fallacies.
