Web/Android/IPhone Developer - Opportunity Green Inc., Los Angeles, USA
May-August 2011
A business conference company which organizes annual green business conference in Los Angeles area encouraging
business to meet environmental concerns.
Responsibilities:
 Developed and published an Android application in android app market for company’s conference in 2011 which
allows attendees to scan QR codes based on their id’s and allows exchange of virtual business cards via it.

In a Team of Five people developing the android application, I was responsible for connecting the android device to
the web services and fetching data back and displaying it on android device.
ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Simulation of Operating Systems – Nachos (C/C++)
Spring 2011
 Implemented Kernel Locks, Condition Variables, system calls and tested its working by simulating US Passport
Office as Kernel program and user program.

In a Team of Three I was responsible for Interaction between User program and system level constructs such as
implementing system calls and ensuring synchronized access of data between threads.
Facebook & Yahoo finance Mash up Web application (JSON, PERL)
Fall 2010
 Created a search page allowing users to search and view Favorite Stock quotes and then publish on their Facebook
wall post using the Facebook API.

An individual web development course project which used mash up of Java Servlets, JSON and PERL.
Android-Facebook Mobile App (Java)

 Designed an App that contains the login page and a gallery page. The gallery consists of static images accessed from
the Web, which on-click would post the image with the message on the Facebook wall.

Individual project developed as part of coursework using the Facebook API to connect and transfer information from
android phone to Facebook wall of the user.
USC Tracker (Java)
Fall 2010
 Designed and implemented individually an GUI based database application using spatial data corresponding to
people, buildings and zones at USC and mapping EER diagram into oracle OR-DBMS model.
