Your child must choose and complete at least three of the activities for weekly homework. The activities must make a tic-tac-toe line: horizontal, vertical, or diagonal. Please mark your choices with crayon, marker, etc. Parents, you are encouraged to assist your child as needed to make homework a positive learning experience. Please sign and return this sheet on Friday. Spelling words: pick, pack, tack, back, sack, sick, big, in, hold, so Scrabble - Use Scrabble tiles to spell your words. Finger Tracing - Use your finger to spell out each of your words one letter at a time on your mom or dad’s back. Now switch places! Memory Game Make pairs of word cards. Flip them over and try to match pairs. Practice test Take a practice test. (This is especially good on Thursday night.) Spell words with alphabet macaroni or Alphabits Write the words in ABC order. Colorful words - Use two different color pens to write your spelling words. Use one color to write the consonants and another color for the vowels. ABC order Write your words in alphabetical order. Then write them in reverse alphabetical order. Write spelling words in white or light crayon. Paint cereal. over them with watercolor paint. The crayon acts as a resist and the words “magically” appear.
