I would like to have a chance to take home one of the class pets this year. I
have checked with my parents and they said they could pick me up with the
gecko or hermit crabs before March 31st. I know that if I get the gecko, I
must be able to take Tiger’s aquarium home. I promise to do my best job
caring for our pets. I am allowed to hold him, but I have to be careful,
because Tiger is a fast runner! I will bring the pets back to school after
vacation. If I get the gecko, I know that I will have to buy him one dozen
large crickets from a pet store once, while I have him. Both types of animals
need fresh water every day.
The hermit crabs have food, but I am allowed to feed the crabs pieces of
fruit or vegetables. I would take a smaller container home for the hermit
crabs, not their giant tank!
