o Often describes in the order you would see it

o Shows which events took place as a result of other events

 Order of comparison/ contrast –
o Block method – Form of compare/Contract – Compares and
contrasts through a paragraph.
o Point-by-point – Form of compare/Contrast – Compares and
contrasts through sentences.
 Order of importance o Most important reason – Least important reason or
o Least important reason – Most important reason
