Directions for 5 Essential Components in Reading Bingo
1. Make a copy of the bingo card for each student.
2. Start the powerpoint presentation. The first slide describes provides the
information to be identified as a definition, example, high priority skill or
instructional research fact. The following slide provides the correct
response so all students can mark their card.
3. The instructor can determine whether stopping after the students have a
bingo or if they want to continue through the powerpoint as way to provide
background knowledge of the essential components needed in Core or
Tier 1 instruction.
