Bio for Duane M. Bullock
Duane Bullock is a Pennsylvania State University alum, graduating in 1989 with a B.S. in Business Logistics, (now called Supply Chain Management).
He has been with Penn State’s Purchasing Services Department for over 26 years.
He is currently the Manager of Supplier Diversity and Environmentally
Responsible Purchasing and has been in that position for over ten years now.
Part of his duties include developing and maintaining a strategic plan with the perpetual goal of increasing contractual commitments and procurement activity with diverse suppliers. He helps to ensure that diverse suppliers are provided the maximum opportunity to become 1 st and 2 nd tier suppliers to the
University. He supports the Purchasing Services buying staff by identifying suppliers for projects and bidding opportunities. Duane serves as the primary training resource to units within the schools and colleges for procurement training in support of the delegated procurement authority.
He is a member of the Finance and Business Diversity & Inclusion Strategic
Priority Team. He is also an alumnus of Leadership Centre County, (class of
2000) and currently sits on the Recruitment & Selection Committee.
Duane plays keyboard, trombone and marched in the Penn State Blue Band during his college years. He is also a lifetime member of Phi Mu Alpha
Sinfonia (Music Fraternity).
His wife of 23 years Letitia Bullock, also a Penn State grad and his three children reside in the State College area. He and his wife were also former volunteer DJs for the local WPSU radio station, with their nickname being
“The Killer Bees”.
