DBMS Indexing
Target Date: 6/26/2015
For this assignment you are required to identify something interesting regarding the indexing techniques
used by the DBMS assigned to you in class. Does the vendor have a unique indexing approach? Have they
modified one of the techniques discussed in class in an interesting way? What are they doing that is unique.
You should write up your findings in a one-page paper, or simply bring a printout/description of the
specific technique with highlights. Finally, you should be prepared to discuss your findings in class.
