Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Are the Self Audits really necessary?

A: Yes, they are. The audit covers the basics to keep an
area within regulatory compliance. Every year, a County
Hazardous Materials regulator comes to the Campus to
inspect us and each year the same violations occur.
These audits help remind us what to look out for!
Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why do we need to do them twice a year?

A: The audits are done just before the start or in the first
few weeks of a semester. It is a way to get people
thinking about safety from the very beginning. In fact,
audits can be done as often as you like. Actually, if you
want to remain compliant at all times, twice a year is not
enough!!
