Responsible to: Associate Director of Student Activities for Greek Life
Job Summary:
The Graduate Assistant for Panhellenic assists the Associate Director of Student
Activities for Greek Life in the preparation and implementation of Panhellenic
recruitment, supervising the undergraduate Panhellenic Council, advising Order of
Omega, and chaperoning annual conference trips. Additionally, the Graduate Assistant
for Panhellenic serves as the Coordinator of the Stacy Riddle Forum. This role includes
facilities management, marketing, administration, programming, and facilitating tours
and special events.
Responsibilities:













Assist the Associate Director of Greek Life for Student Activities in advising the
undergraduate Panhellenic Council, sorority presidents, recruitment chairs, and
recruitment counselors
Assist the Associate Director of Greek Life for Student Activities with the
planning and implementation of Formal Recruitment, which takes place one
weekend during the fall and one full week prior to the start of spring classes
Manage the Stacy Riddle Forum, the 51,000 square foot facility which houses
nine sorority suites, a computer lab, a chapel and prayer room, a Panhellenic
office and conference room, and a coordinator’s apartment
Submit work requests, keep the calendar, and facilitate tours and special events
Work with Baylor students, staff, faculty advisors, alumnae advisors, House
Corporation members, national consultants, DPS, risk management, housekeeping
staff, maintenance, and groundspersons to maintain facility standards
Assist the Associate Director of Greek Life for Student Activities in advising
Order of Omega, an honors society for Greek students
Plan the All-Greek Presidents Meetings with the other Greek Life Graduate
Assistant that occur twice a semester
Chaperone annual trips to the SEPC conference in Atlanta, GA
Assist the groups in planning programming to meet the educational needs of
Panhellenic
Attend all Student Activities staff meetings, Greek Life staff meetings, student
development meetings, and staff retreats
Work on other projects concerning Greek Life as determined by the Associate
Director of Student Activities and the Coordinators of Greek Life
Evening and weekend work required
