… Wisconsin's aging energy infrastructure, coupled with an average energy consumption growth rate of 3-4% per year, has put tremendous pressure on the state's utility companies to supply uninterrupted power to customers. Utility executives say it's not a question of whether there will be a power outage, but when and where that outage will occur. The unspoken impact of an energy crisis is the toll it takes on the expansion of existing business within Wisconsin, as well as the ability to attract new business from out of state.
