Welcome, to our function, glad to see you’ve joined us today
Enjoyed the snacks, heard the poetry, now I have something to say
We’re here for a reason, to increase our numbers and put LaGuardia back on top
As the #1 college of PTK reps, we’re coming back for that #1 spot
PTK you ask? What’s that mean? Phi Theta Kappa is the name and clearly
You should understand its meaning, not just some letters, but wisdom, aspiration, and purity
We’re every day students, just like you, talk to us, I promise we won’t bite
We strive for excellence, leaders of the elite, you think you can be one of us, I think youre right!
There are some pre-requisites, standards to meet; we do take membership very seriously
This is no joke; we want you to succeed, we want to help your dreams become your reality
12 credits completed, that’s a semester at least, with a GPA of three five
Not impossible to do, all you need is dedication, hard work, and a little drive
How hard is that? We all want to excel, why not reap the benefits of our accomplishments
Scholarly references, resume highlights, and quite a bit of money for scholarships
A sense of pride, self fulfillment, a new level of respect will be obtained
All from you, taking that next step, to see how much from this organization can be gained
