QUEENSBOROUGH COMMUNITY COLLEGE PHI THETA. KAPPA CLUB CONSTITUTION 1. Club: Phi Theta Kappa 2. Purpose: To enhance members' knowledge about transfer and scholarship opportunities 3. Membership: Any person who is member of the Phi Theta Kappa National Organization. No person shall be denied membership or office in this organization because of race, color, religious beliefs or non-belief, national origin, sex, political beliefs, veteran, handicapped status or sexual orientation. 4. Officers and Duties: President, Vice President, Senator, Treasurer, Secretary will assume the regular expected duties and attend the Student Government meetings as asked by the Board of the Student Government. Election Procedures: Elections will be held during the first meeting of the semester by a secret ballot. 5. Meetings: Meetings will be held at least once a month and members will be informed by mail. 6. Amendment Procedures: As needed and upon consultation with the Student Government (QSA Student Senate). 7. Ratification: This constitution and all amendments must be approved by the appropriate governing body (QSA Student Senate). 8. Conduct of Meetings: All meetings are conducted accordingly to Robert's Rules of Order.
