I am a rat
Tiny but strong, mentally and physically
I can survive in darkness and brightness
Not quite adorable, but very adaptable
I wander around the streets
Witnessing many people with multiple faces
I see their lovely faces shining under the sun
I come across their wily faces with ghoulish laughter in the dark
Being a rat is fortunate
Despite life can be very brief as a flurry of wind
It doesn't stop me from having a vigorous approach to life
I am making every effort to paint my rosy future
I am not a love at first sight rat
But if given a chance, you would be addicted to me
I crack you up when we chat
I give you hugs when you sob
