Second Part: Word APPLICATION FORM FOR SPECIAL PROCEDURES MANDATE HOLDERS Special Rapporteur on the rights of indigenous peoples How to start the application process: - The application process has been split into 2 parts, the first part is a Webbased survey and the second part is an application form in word which can be downloaded, completed and returned by email. Both parts and all sections of the application form should be filled in for the application to be processed. The first part, i.e. the Web-based survey is used to collect information for statistical purposes such as personal data (i.e. name, gender, nationality), contact details, mandate/s applying for and nominating entity. The webbased survey should only be completed once, i.e. multiple selection allowed to indicate if the candidate is applying for more than one mandates. This is the second part, i.e. of the application form in Word which can be downloaded, completed and saved in word format and then submitted as an attachment by email. Information provided in this form, includes a motivation letter of maximum 600 words, will be used as received to prepare the public list of candidates who applied for each vacancy and will be made available to concerned parties, including through the OHCHR Internet. Once completed the application form in Word should be submitted by email to hrcspecialprocedures@ohchr.org If the candidate is applying for more than one mandates, an application form needs to be completed and sent for each mandate. I participated at the ECOSOC Substantive session of 2013 and presented the statement for High level segment: annual ministerial review. I submitted to the United Nations Office On Drugs and Crime anti-corruption initiatives. I also developed the project «Transparency» for implementation of effective civilian control in sphere of expenditure of budgetary funds. The project envisages implementation of a range of initiatives and activities aimed at ensuring transparency of the major objects of the budget process. I developed the proposals to protect interests of indigenous peoples and local population on priority employment in diamond branch of the Republic Sakha (Yakutia). My NGO «Yakutia – Our Opinion» has Special Consultative Status with the ECOSOC. In 2010 the organization received the accreditation of the Ministry of Justice of Russian Federation for anticorruption expertise. 9 anti-corruption expertises are held. We undertake several anti-corruption investigations against officials including the members of the government of the Republic Sakha (Yakutia). Therefore international community must be united in fight with corruption. On the regional level, my work is also aimed at performing objectives of the Council of the Municipalities, the Yakut branch of Trade Union SOTSPROF, the Yakut branch of the Labour party of Russia. The OHCHR recommends to identify not only some concrete violations, but systematic violations of human rights and to propose measures for their elimination. For this reason I developed the initiatives to amend Russian legislation for almost every complaint. The specific measures are developed on the basis of this plan.
