Despite continuous efforts to eliminate direct and indirect gender discrimination –
the Department for Equal Opportunities for Women and Men is active in this area
– women more often have a job with fewer responsibilities in comparison with
men. What is the government planning to do to alter this trend?

Impartial judicial system
The Group of States against Corruption of the Council of Europe has stated in its
2011 evaluation report on Liechtenstein that work has to be done in the field of
impartial judiciary. How does Liechtenstein ensure the impartiality of the judicial
powers and the appointment of (ad hoc) judges?
