ADVANCE QUESTIONS TO CANADA-ADD 1 MONTENEGRO Montenegro commends Canada for its commitment to addressing the broad spectrum of human rights. We commend Canada for the Ratification of the Palermo Protocol. We welcome the Government of Canada’s 2012 National Action Plan to Combat Human Trafficking as the framework that guides the Government’s actions and introduces significant new measures including: the first integrated law enforcement team and number of mechanisms to respond to human trafficking and enhance prevention in vulnerable communities. Question: What results have been achieved from the work of the National Crime Prevention Centre and its developed resources for use by communities to access and combat the issue of trafficking in persons and other related crimes and to prevent the violence in Canada’s urban centers? Additionally, what steps is the Government planning to undertake in its efforts to enhance coordination between antitrafficking law enforcement and assistance and support services for victims? LIECHTENSTEIN Liechtenstein recognises Canada’s commitment to international criminal justice, as evidenced by its continued support for the International Criminal Court and its implementation of the provisions of the Rome Statute into domestic law.
