Undergraduate Council
August 30, 2011 3:30 p.m.
316 A Funkhouser Building
Present: Mike Mullen, Donna Smith, Nancy Johnson, Hans Gesund, Kevin Real, Wanda Lovitz,
Ruth Beattie, Arne Bathke, Ann Dickson, Randa Remer, Jeff Rogers, Megan Doyle
Holly Swanson, Chair of the Senate Council, joined the meeting briefly. She wanted to express
her thanks for the work done by the Undergraduate Council and to answer any questions
members might have.
Following her department, Dr. Mullen presented a proposed structure for an Honors Academy
and this was accepted by the Undergraduate Council. A copy is attached.
The meeting adjourned at 4:30 p.m. Because of scheduling conflicts, the next meeting will be on
September 20, 2011
