Submitted to Ms. Barbara Erickson
PowerPoint Slide for Poster Printer
BCS-BP-4. Students will explore different representations of images and music
in a computer.
Explain the difference between bitmapped and vector-based representations
of images.
Explain the difference between MIDI and sampled sound representations of
music.
Write a program to modify a bitmapped image and/or sampled sound.
This assignment would require the student to create a slide presentation with sound. This
will consist of :
1. Creating a sound object
2. The student will create a presentation for each stage of printing a
campaign sign.
3. The sound object will coincide with a sign printed from a poster
printer.
4. During each step of the printing, the sound will be created and saved
so that each stage will be an accurate representation of what actually
takes place during the printing process.
5. The object will appear on the screen, which will consist of a picture of
the printer. As each slide forms, each step will consist of the sound
that the printer makes as the vinyl goes up and down in the cutter.
