Math Targets
April 4-8- 2.MD.9 I can show measurement by
making a line plot, where the horizontal scale is
marked off in whole-number units.
April 11-15- 2.MD.10- I can draw a picture graph
and a bar graph to represent data set with up to
four categories. Solve simple put-together, takeapart, and compare problems using information
presented in a bar graph.
April 4-8- 2.RI.2 I can tell the main idea of a
text with several paragraphs.
April 11-15- 2.RI.3a- I can relate different
historical events in a text. We are focusing on
using timelines this week.

If you have not returned picture money,
your child will not be allowed to go on the
field trip even if they have paid for the
field trip. Teachers were just informed of
this.
Science
We are starting a unit on Life
Cycles in Science. We are excited
to be getting chick eggs the second
week of April. It will take them
about 21 days to hatch. Then we
will enjoy taking care of the chicks
in our classroom for a few days!
