Step Two: Watch the video titled, “Expository Writing,” Take notes on what
expository writing is and keep them in the writing section of your notebook.
Step Three: On a half sheet of paper, construct your own expository thesis
statement based on the prompt and the information you just watched. Provide a list
of three reasons to support your thesis.
Step Four: View and read the document titled, “Being an American: Japanese
Relocation in WWII.”
Step Five: Construct an argumentative thesis statement based on your opinion and
write it on the back of the half sheet of paper. Provide a list of three reasons to
support your thesis.
