CLASSICAL INDIA’S REPORT CARD DIRECTIONS: You are tasked with assigning a letter grade (A+ to F) to each of the following categories as they relate to Classical India. For example, if asked to give Classical China a letter grade for the category of “Intellectual Advances & Innovations”, Mr. Roseman would probably give it a grade of an “A+”. But that’s not all! In order to do this, however, you must provide supporting historical evidence that explains why Classical India deserves that particular grade. Remember, a good historian not only makes an argument, but backs the argument up with relevant factual evidence. Here are the 5 categories: SOCIAL COHESION & SOCIAL EQUALITY FAMILY LIFE & TREATMENT OF WOMEN INTELLECTUAL ADVANCES & INNOVATIONS Letter Grade: Letter Grade: Letter Grade: Historical Evidence to Support the Grade: Historical Evidence to Support the Grade: Historical Evidence to Support the Grade: INTERNATIONAL TRADE ABILITY OF GOVERNMENT TO CONTROL & TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE INDIAN PEOPLE Letter Grade: Letter Grade: Historical Evidence to Support the Grade: Historical Evidence to Support the Grade:
