Geography of Ancient Greece
1. What are the 3 main seas that surround Greece?
2. Where did the Greeks live theoretically speaking and why was this the case?
3. Why did the Greeks have to depend on the seas for travel and trade?
4. About what percent of Greece was covered by mountains?
5. What did it do to the people and cities of Greece? What was the effect of this on the unification of Greece into a
single empire?

7. What percentage of Greek lands could be farmed? How did this affect the population of Greece?
