Please describe the school-business partnership as fully as possible, including a
history of the partnership and any benefits to either the business or the school:
Every year, Doug Ward comes into the Personal Finance classes at Loudoun
County High School to speak with the students about banking and financial
services. Doug doesn’t just come in one time a year, he comes in to all the
classes both semesters. He does a fantastic job of engaging the students and
reinforcing the standards taught in the class. The time he spends with the
students is very generous and a great help to the teachers.
Benefits to the company:
Bank of Clarke County has the opportunity to put their community bank in front of
the students in the class.
