1. On Google Drive inside of your folder for our class, open your Learner Profiles of World Leaders
folder.
2. Open your Evidence of Work folder.
3. Inside your Evidence of Work folder, create a new Google doc and name it Criterion B.
a. Choose font type Arial or Times New Roman and font type 12.
b. Below the dotted line and beginning with the words “Your Name/Block,” select and highlight all
of the information to the bottom of the last process journal for this criterion and copy it. Make sure that
you have highlighted and copied all of it.
c. Then Paste it onto your Criterion B document at Google Drive. Use this original form. Do not
delete directions, questions, instructions for tasks, etc. Do not rearrange any data or
information. Only titles and headings should be centered aligned. Everything else (directions,
questions, answers, etc.) is to be left aligned.
d. Fix any formatting issues (spacing, recreating table or charts, etc.).
- Select/highlight the entire document: Click Edit --> Select All.
- Select Single Space from the Line Spacing Icon.
- Select font size 12.
- Select either Arial or Times New Roman.
- Fix text alignment and spacing issues
e. Otherwise, in general, please keep the formatting as it is.
f. Do not add extra bold, italicize or underline regular text or data. You may notice this has already
been done either for emphasis or to assist you with finding a section. Titles and headings should be in
bold,.
g. You may use any readable dark color for your font if you would like your answers and data in
charts/tables/outlines to stand out.
5. Now begin your work for Criterion B. Pay attention in class for explanations and pacing guide with
dates to complete this on time.

Criterion B, Objectives 1 and 2:

Evidence of Work - Classwork and Homework
Describe, discuss, and analyze your Criterion B, Objectives 1 and 2 Evidence of Work. Be
very thorough and cite specifics as you answer questions, provide information, and follow
instructions. This objective may be completed individually and/or cooperatively by using our ThinkPair-Share blended learning strategy. To clarify, each student is responsible to complete a document, but
may work with a classmate to work on their two documents together.
You are expected to write strong, effective sentences. What does a strong, effective sentence
look like? Besides being grammatically correct, a strong effective sentence elaborates with specifics and
depending upon the question or task, it may also analyze, compare/contrast, draw conclusions, make
predictions, evaluate, or reflect. So please apply your higher order thinking skills as you answer
questions and complete tasks.
1. Brainstorm the possible solutions (products). Compose a list of 10 or more different products or
ways that this project can be created in Criterion C – Creating the Solution. These products presentations
may be both digital and nondigital. Hybrids (or combinations of two specific ways) may be included.
Consider both our Presentation Alternatives that are listed at our class website plus your own
imagination and creativity. This framework below has been created for your convenience. It allows up to
12 products or items. You are encouraged to list more if you would like to go above and beyond.

2.Check the solutions (products) you have brainstormed, use a checklist, and also write an
overview about each of your three solutions (products).

1. In a paragraph of three or more strong, effective sentences, define the word, brainstorming, and
discuss the purpose of brainstorming ideas.
2. In two or more strong, effective sentences, discuss why it is helpful and important to narrow-down a
list of five or more ideas or products to three for testing and analysis.
3. In a paragraph of three or more strong, effective sentences, explain how creating an initial plan, by
creating step-by-step checklist of things to do to successfully for your project, assist you with
analyzing, and comparing and contrasting, your three products?
4. In two or more strong, effective sentences, discuss how exploring and listing some pros and cons of
each product provides additional data and therefore, assists you with comparing and contrasting
your three products.
Criterion B, Objective 3: I can present the chosen design.
Evidence of Work - Classwork and Homework

select one of your three products from above that at this point of the project, you plan to use for your
created presentation or product in Criterion C.

why you made your choice.
Criterion A, Objective 3 Process Journal
1. In a paragraph of two or more strong, effective sentences, discuss, analyze, and reflect what you
learned from composing an essay in which you explained and justified why your selected
presentation or product is the best.
2. Answer each of the following questions for reflection. How did you feel about what you have done
so far for your project? Was it satisfying? Frustrating? Rewarding? What has gone well? What have
you learned so far? What needed to be improved? What other reflections do you have at this stage of
the project?
3. In two or more strong, effective sentences, discuss what’s next? Explain how the things you did
today will lead you towards your next steps for homework and our next class meeting.
Criterion B, Objective 4: I can create a planning drawing/diagram, which outlines the main details
for making the chosen solution.
Evidence of Work - Classwork and Homework
Describe, discuss, and analyze your Criterion B, Objective 4 Evidence of Work. Be very
thorough and cite specifics as you answer questions, provide information, and follow instructions. Please
complete this objective individually; ask teacher questions, for help, etc.
1. Complete a drawing/diagram. Draw and create a bubble map or flow chart - or if you have a
different idea for your drawing/diagram, please communicate it to the teacher for approval.
As listed below, include all data from your research plus other information that will be required
for your product. DO NOT COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING OUTLINE. Instead, either by hand
or digitally, create your own bubble map, flow chart, or other type of drawing/diagram with all
of the following information. Most of this data is from your chart in Criterion A, Objective 2, #3b.
Please do not copy/paste from your chart. Instead, revise and rewrite your information exactly the
way you want it to appear on your presentation or product.

Criterion B, Objective 4 Process Journal
1. In two or more strong, effective sentences, discuss how completing an outline about the data needed
for your product provides a snapshot or a glimpse of your future planned and created work in
Criterion C.
2. Answer each of the following questions for reflection. How did you feel about what you did today?
Was it satisfying? Frustrating? Rewarding? What went well? What did you learn? What needed to
be improved? What other reflections do you have at this stage of the project?
3. In a paragraph of four or more strong, effective sentences, reflect, analyze, and evaluate your use of
Criterion B: Developing ideas - of the design cycle. How do you feel about your comparison,
contrast, and analysis of your selected three items or products? Did your diagram/outline give you a
preview of what your multimedia or web design presentation may look like? What are your strong
points with Criterion B? What did you did you like the best? What would you do differently if you
had to do it over? (You may make any changes, additions, improvements, corrections, etc., right
now to improve the quality of your work!)

Please read and follow the following instructions carefully.
There is no peer review/evaluation form with Criterion B, but you are encouraged to have
a peer check your work before handing it in. Revise and proofread your work. What are your
strengths and opportunities for improvement? Did you go above and beyond meeting minimum
expectations and requirements? Does your work also consider the big picture, global perspectives,
international mindedness, etc. Are your responses thorough and specific?
At Google Drive, use both spell check and your brain to correct errors in spelling, capitalization,
sentence structure (e.g., subject/verb agreement), and other standard English grammar issues. Please use
standard English. For example, use "and," not "&;" capitalize "I," etc. Are your paragraphs indented
properly (approximately five to eight spaces)?
Use the original form that you were directed to copy and paste onto a Google doc and follow
all instructions on both the criterion's document and below. If not, a submitted assignment will be
unacceptable and may result in a temporary 0-50 until the document is resubmitted correctly.

3. Your name, block, and date of submission
4. Answers should be in plain font and in any dark color.
For an assessment grade, please submit your criterion document via Text Entry at this
assignment's webpage at Canvas by the date announced in class.
1. At this assignment's Canvas webpage, click the Submit Assignment button at the top.
2. Copy your entire criterion document on Google Drive and paste it in the Text Entry box.
3. As you proofread your work again, make sure that your first/last name, class block, and date handed
in are accurately typed at the top of the page.
4. Fix any formatting issues, such as spacing, left alignment questions adding borders (gridlines),
adjusting cell sizes, etc.
5. Everything will probably align left and that is OK. :-) Just keep it that way. Any color will probably
end up black or gray. You may also use any dark color for titles, headings, and your answers.
6. Your charts or tables will probably appear without borders. To fix this, click inside or highlight the
table, click Table, then click Table Properties, type 1 inside the box for Border, and click OK.
7. Check the bottom of your Text Entry form: your Criterion A Peer Review/Evaluation form
should be the final thing that appears.
8. Using the Comments section is optional, if you want to explain something, share ideas, remind the
teacher of specific dates you were absent from class, etc. Then click the Submit Assignment button
at the bottom and if applicable, hand in any printed or hand-created paperwork with your name and
class block type or written on each sheet. Next, begin Criterion C.
9. If you redo and resubmit this assignment, please in class - inform the teacher, or out of class –
