INVESTIGATORY POWER
•CONGRESS HAS THE POWER TO INVESTIGATE ANY MATTER
THAT FALLS WITHIN THE SCOPE OF ITS LEGISLATIVE
POWERS. CONGRESS EXERCISES THIS AUTHORITY
THROUGH ITS STANDING COMMITTEES, AND THEIR
SUBCOMMITTEES, AND OFTEN THROUGH SPECIAL
