Chapter Six Post-Reading Activities
Select one of the activity options below and complete on your own. This assignment is due at
the beginning of next class – for a grade.
Option One:
Drave the caste system. Create a visual representation of the castes that explains the
characteristics of each group. Color-code it according to the colors assigned to each caste. To
earn full credit you will need to include the main defining points and characteristics of each
caste.
Option Two:
Compare and contrast. Create a venn diagram comparing the lives of the upper-class castes with
what life is like for those in the lower-class castes. Be sure to note similarities as well as
differences. To earn full credit you will need to have several of each.
