Monday Memo 2/22/16
Hello Parents,
Hopefully we will have a full week of school! This week,
we will continue with community helpers and the students will
finish their projects of who they want to help when they grow
up.
We will also be learning about pet safety in preparation
for our first visit from the Heeling House therapy dog on
Friday! Please send back the permission slips ASAP so your
child can participate. The dog will be in a separate room and
a couple of students at a time will visit for 15-20 minute
lessons. We are very excited to start working with them.
This week also kicks off our school’s Read- A-Thon. We
will be reading extra stories throughout the week. Please
consider donating to help our students and school. This can be
done by sending a check to Lowes Island elementary or online
at our school’s website.
Lastly, we are in need of baby wipes for the classroom.
Please consider donating a pack. Thank you and have a great
