Monday Memo

Class Agenda:
Reading – This week we will focus on cause and effect in fiction books. Students are
continuing to work on their story wheel project. This project should be completed by
Friday.
Writing – We are continuing our persuasive letters to King James. There is no DLR until after
winter break.
Math –We are moving on to estimating with multiplication. There will be an estimating quiz
on Friday.
Virginia Studies – We just finished up our final Jamestown notes, there will be a test this
Friday. After Jamestown we are moving back to Science.
Reminders
1. Our class still needs expo markers! We use these almost every day in math! Thank you to
those who have donated  (we do NOT need more notecards, thank you everyone!)
2. Our FLE lessons begin tomorrow. Students will have 4 lessons (Tuesday, Wednesday,
Friday, and next Monday).
3. Students should continue to work on their reading log!
4. Once your child has reached 100% in addition and subtraction facts on Reflex I will move
them back up to multiplication and division.
5. Once again, this is just a shout out to how awesome your children are! Our class
continues to be a loving and supportive environment, and I am thrilled to have them as
a part of my every day life!
