SOL testing in May/June
Please make sure your child does not miss any days in May for
preparation and testing success!
Reading SOL—Part 1 on May 16 & Part 2 on May 17
Math SOL



BRING IN YOUR CHILD’S MONEY ASAP

Wegmeyer’s Strawberry Farm Field Trip May 24.
Chaperones have been chosen for both trips…thanks for all who
volunteered, wish I could have used all of you but could only have 5 
What We are learning in….
Math: measurement of time, temperature, inches, centimeters, yards, and
calendar review.
Science: soil and ongoing scientific investigation
Social Studies: Economics and European explorers
Language Arts: editing independently, revising, reference skills
Dear Parents,
As we come to the close of the year please continue to encourage your child to
do their best in all homework and school work. Our SOL’s are happening later in
the year than usual, so we don’t want “summer fever” to kick in too early and
affect effort at SOL testing time. You should really be proud of your children, I
know I am! They have learned a tremendous amount of curriculum this year.
Classroom Needs:#2 pencils, black dry erase markers, small
baggies. Thanks in advance!
