Extended Reading:
Select a chapter book to read this week; read the next 150 pages or 15 chapters, which
ever is less. As you read each chapter, write a one sentence summary that explains the
most important event. Put the events in the order they occurred. Select one event from all
of the others that you think is the most important of them all. Explain what makes that so
important to the story. What feelings come from that event? How do you feel about the
events in the book thus far. All of your responses should be written out and ready to be
shared next time you meet with Mr. Pangman.
