Each unit is broken up into
4 equally weighted assessments:
Vocabulary/Concepts
Art History/Artists/Process
Artists/Tools/Methods
Art Project
In addition, all four categories will focus on the elements of
art and principles of design as we go through each unit.
Students that receive anything lower than a “B-” are
expected to re-take the following assessments:
All assessments are out of 15 points
11.5/15 = C+ or (76) meaning more than 3 wrong must re-test
You may only
an assessment
The highest grade that you can receive is a “B.”
If in the event the re-take grade is lower than
the original grade the two will be averaged together
