EFT Regional Workshop
LD/ADHD Testing Services
Completed, however, the location of one of the offices is not ideal.
Description
The new equipment allows practicum supervisors to provide live supervision without being the room and can be viewed on the computer from the supervisor’s office. Students can also review their session via the computer.
Scheduled 7435 appointments, 976 new intakes, 139 emergency/crisis appointments and 100 hours of Outreach programs/events.
Provided 710 hours of supervision for practicum students and graduate assistants
One day workshop by Dr. Rhonda Goldman which focused on helping therapist work with the problematic emotional processes that drive problems that bring clients into therapy. There were 30 participants that attended from as far away as Nashville.
The CC provided 24 ADHD and 4 LD assessments. The funds generated from the assessments were used to purchase assessment protocols, upgrade the DVR equipment and fund professional development activities.

Please add more space for collaborative efforts as your department’s activities warrant.
F. Continuous Improvement:
Please list areas which have been cited (either through formal or informal assessment and evaluation) as requiring additional attention.
1. Cite a SINGLE area, program, service or function that was identified through a formal assessment (i.e.: focus group, survey, tracking, etc.) as needing improvement or warranting additional attention.
Intake wait time has improved, but still problematic. During peak times, the average wait time is 14 days.
2. Which assessment mechanism(s) (i.e.: focus group, survey, tracking, etc.) assisted your department in identifying the need for improvement?
Assessment includes feedback from counseling center staff, students and the greater campus community. The wait times are easily identified with Titanium.
3. Specifically, what did the assessment’s findings reflect that resulted in enhancements to this area, program, service or function?
We have moved to short-term counseling 8-10 sessions during the semester and emergency appointments on a daily basis. While these changes have helped, it has not resolved the issue.
4. What has your department done/plan to do to address this area, program, service or function? Please be as specific as possible.
Review the entire intake process and how intakes are scheduled.
Explore the development of the triage or walk-in system of intake.
Explore how to reduce intake wait-time and still provide services to ongoing clients.
