There were four main causes of the Great Depression, 1) over-production of both farm goods
and manufactured goods, 2) raise in consumerism - people buying on credit, 3) people buying
stocks ‘on margin.’, 4) banks without governmental regulations had over-extended by
investing/loaning more money than they had on deposit.
