TODAY’S OBJECTIVES:
Students will learn how cultural background, gender, and personal
experience influence learning and point of view
AGENDA:
1) Complete grammar warmup #29 (paragraph edit).
2) As a class, listen to excerpts from pages 19-41 from
One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.
3) For pages 42-48 from One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s
Nest, we need to create a therapy session in the front of
the classroom that includes the following seven (7)
characters: Nurse Ratched, McMurphy, Old Pete
Bancini, Billy Bibbit, Mr. Harding, Doctor Spivey, and
the Narrator, Chief. Read each person’s part as if you
were part of that session….
4) As a class, listen to pages 48-69 from One Flew Over
the Cuckoo’s Nest.
