TODAY’S OBJECTIVES:
Students will examine how the author’s purpose affects
his/her use of language and choice of form (MCPS 3.4.2)
AGENDA:
1. Complete Lesson Before Dying vocabulary
assessment.
2. For Halloween, use reason to predict outcome of
the “Cemetery Path” story.
3. Read (and reread) the “Cask of Amontillado”
(see webpage).
4. Experience “The Tell-Tale Heart” and the “Cask
of Amontillado” by Edgar Allan Poe through
your ears and eyes.
