Mastery Objectives:
SWBAT reflect upon creative elements and forms and respond in a critical
manner, and 2) identify specific textual evidence from primary sources to
support a personal response to a text.
AGENDA:
1. Complete in-class writing assignment on Hunger of
Memory.
2. Finish Socratic seminar on Hunger of Memory by
Richard Rodriguez. You will be graded on your ability
to participate within the circle, refer to the text and
provide insight into that text. Note quotations on board
to help you get started.
HOMEWORK/UPCOMING DUE DATES:
 Read Old Man and the Sea by this Wednesday,
11/11. Select a passage or two that you believe
most exemplifies Hemingway’s language.
 Next vocabulary list will be due this Friday.
