AP English Language and Composition
AGENDA:
1. Review yearly vocabulary assignment.
2. In literature circles, compile quotes or passage from
Welty and its corresponding lesson. Within your circle,
determine which quote/passage and corresponding
lesson your group likes the best and transfer to chart
paper.
3. Review examples of personal narrative/photograph
demonstrating understanding of Welty’s style.
4. In groups, perform written peer review of Welty
summer writing assignment. Make sure you answer the
following questions in your peer review:
 Did writer understand the prompt?
 Did writer show that he/she understood the book?
 Did the writer use enough examples?
