-Need to avoid isolation that could come from growth
-Need gathering space for faculty and students
-Forums to share ideas
-Would like to see very small seminars available. 10-12 student freshman seminars as a
retention strategy.
-Senior/upper division seminars for intellectual exchange
-On campus housing can enhance intellectual community
-Facilities can really reduce or promote isolation in community
-Library is central to academic success
-Continue efforts to integrate academic and student affairs
-Responsibility to environment and sustainability
-telecommuting opportunities
-use of technology
-Continuing to diversify our community and provide resources to sustain that diverse
community
-Need to make sure we don’t neglect existing graduate programs
-Importance of library and educational facilities to our future
