Understanding Sampling
It is a process by which a CTS is converted into a sequence of discrete samples,
with each sample representing the amplitude of signal at a particular instant of time.
Types of sampling
• Uniform sampling
in Uniform sampling, the space between two samples is fixed throughout the
signal under consideration
• Non -Uniform sampling
in Non-Uniform sampling, the space between two samples varies throughout the
signal under consideration based on their characteristics like Frequency

selected from a finite number of discrete amplitude
