VISION 2012: Centralia College will be recognized as the best community college in the State of
Washington. The college will be a driving force in the local economy and be the intellectual heart and
cultural soul of the community.
MISSION: Improving people’s lives through life long learning.
CORE VALUES: RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY and RESPONSIVENESS
Respect: We value the worth and dignity of the individual, affirming that the learning process includes

Community Involvement
 Foster recognition within the community that Centralia College is a college of the community,
sought for its involvement in local and regional planning and economic development and looked to
for its provision of intellectual discourse and cultural awareness.

VP, Instruction meets monthly with Superintendents;
Attended Lewis County Superintendents Dinner;
Electronics faculty visits area high schools to promote
program, Enrollment Services area regularly does mailing
to area high schools on programs available, promotional
materials: quarterly schedule, postcards, scholarship
information letters,
Foundation is not going to do an alumni association, but
will develop a alumni tracking database. Information to go
out to alumni re: recognition and acknowledgements, Hall
of Fame for former student leaders, "what's going on at the
College" etc.
