Management Intern If you are interested in a career in public administration, this internship is an excellent opportunity to experience first hand, many of the issues facing local government. You will be part of the management team responsible for a wide variety of community and internal organization services. Part of your duties will include research and analysis of improvement initiatives, budgetary items, and general administrative functions. You will have access to leaders in the community through board and committee meetings. As a staff person to the Downtown Development Authority, you will be involved in assisting with such projects as marketing the downtown area, planning infrastructure improvements, and coordinating community enrichment programs. Also, you will be involved in an innovative program designed to stimulate the entrepreneurial spirit within the community. Upperclassmen or graduate students currently enrolled in a bachelors or masters degree program in public administration, management or related field.
